Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are very powerful tools that can treat a vast array of issues and conditions. Hypnotherapy is directive therapy, helping clients to help themselves – conditioning them to change their behaviors into more productive and positive ones – and giving them insight into their motivations and behaviors.
Hypnotherapists will usually take an “eclectic” approach to therapy, integrating the ideas and methods of several different orientations into their own personal style. My work is grounded in empathy, behaviorism, humanism, imagery and NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) as I guide you on your journey to transform from within.
Hypnotherapy is a natural and organic process of tapping into the power of your own mind to achieve your self-improvement goals. Many people think of hypnotherapy only for use with habits such as stopping smoking or losing weight. While it certainly is good for those, the power of the mind has no limits for personal application.
As a Hypnotherapist, I work with a broad array of personal achievement goals. In some cases, a medical referral may be required for issues of pain management and other medica-related issues. If you are working with another counseling professional already or have goals beyond personal self-improvement then I may ask for a referral from the appropriate psychology professional.
It would be nearly impossible to list every possible application for hypnotherapy. The list below can give you the general idea of the possible applications of hypnotherapy and how I can help you transform from within.
